MTN, the leading mobile telecommunications company in Ghana, has presented a cheque of GH¢ 5,000.00, to the chiefs and people of the Ada Traditional Area for the celebration of this year’s Asafotufiam festival.
MTN also donated MTN recharge cards worth GH¢ 1,000.00, a drink hamper and other souvenirs to show their support towards the celebration.
Presenting the cheque and the items, the MTN Area Sales Manager for Greater Accra Region, Mr Prince Nyarko said MTN would continue to create a platform for relationship building for the good people of Ada.
“We are pleased to say that the 2016 Asafotufiame festival coincides with our Company’s 20 years of operations in Ghana.In view of this, we have come to express our gratitude to the people of Ada for your support over two decades. You have contributed in making it possible for MTN to be in business for 20 years.”
He gave the assurance that MTN would continually invest in infrastructure with the aim of providing the best of services to all its customers.MTN also donated MTN recharge cards worth GH¢ 1,000.00, a drink hamper and other souvenirs to show their support towards the celebration.

MTN in addition to the donation, are supporting the organisation of the Durbar of chiefs and people of Ada and the Ada Royal Walk. MTN will also organize social activities throughout the festive period such as MTN Asafotu Jam at Kemmat Hotel.
A representative from the Ada Traditional Council expressed appreciation to MTN on behalf of the chiefs and people of Ada Traditional Area for MTN continuous support.
