GOtv Unveils Content Line-Up On GOtv Open Week

GOtv subscribers will have a week of maximum entertainment, as the pay-television company has lined up a series blockbuster programmes for them in celebration of its 7th anniversary this month with a special Open Week for its GOtv Plus customers.

From Friday, 19 October to Friday 26 October, all active GOtv Plus customers will enjoy comprehensive coverage of major sporting events like La Liga, Champions League on SS Select 4 and Serie A on SS Select 5, access to the hottest movies and series on FOX, Star Life and ROK 2 as well as riveting reality programmes onCBS Reality, latest celebrity, music, fashion, entertainment and Afro-American lifestyle shows on BET at no extra cost!

With the new football season in full swing, football loving customers will be spoilt for choice, as they will be served the best football action from top LaLiga and Serie A matches on SuperSport Select 4 (Channel 34) and the recently launched SuperSport Select 5 (Channel 36).

La Liga champions Barcelona head to the Camp Nou looking to achieve a statement win against current league leaders, Sevilla on Saturday, 20 October at 7:45pm on SS Select 4. Meanwhile, the highlight fixture in Series A features the Derby della Madonnina, as Inter Milan play AC Milan on Sunday, 21 October at 7:30pm on SS Select 5.

On FOX (channel 19), customers will get to experience the thrilling and exclusive premieres of the best shows including popular and powerful hit television drama, Empire which stars the critically acclaimed Taraji P. Viewers can look forward to shows like Ojukwu which airs Mondays at 7:00pm and Somto airing on Tuesdays at 7:20pm. BET (channel 21) will keep viewers entertained and informed on the latest celebrity, music, fashion and entertainment news. No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth. Renamed Big Brother Naija, the show will have 12 housemates who will compete for the prize of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car. Sponsored by PayPorte, the program will run for 78 days, starting 22 January 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised launch and end on 9 April 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised finale.
