2ND EDITION OF THE ‘I REP JHS OLD STUDENTS SOCCER COMPETITION’

The second edition of the ‘I REP JHS SOCCER COMPETITION’ will kick off on 1st May 2019 from 9:00am – 6:00pm.

The event organized by Green Events and Multimedia will see the soccer competition take place at the Lord’s Wembley Plus, Shukura Accra. The competition is mainly for all old students of Dansoman and Mamprobi based JHS schools.

The first edition of the I REP JHS OLD STUDENTS soccer competition saw only 6 schools participate with Datus Complex crowned champions.

A massive turn-up of 16 schools will be participating in this year’s event. 

A cool rate of GH₵5 is the gate fee and individuals are to be in anything sporty for the event.

Speaking to Global Media, Mavis Naa Quaye, C.E.O for Green Events & Multimedia said the long term vision of the event is to create an old school reunion for the JHS level, she added that the competition is here to stay and that this years version is going to be even more impressive especially with the involvement of so many schools.

Schools that will be partaking in this year’s ‘I REP JHS STUDENTS SOCCER COMPETITION’ are CHRIST ADVANCE, DATUS, EWIT, SEVEN GREAT, AVE MARIA, A.M.E ZION, M.O.H, SAVIOUR, RICHES OF GLORY, EMMANUEL PRESBY, MOST HOLY CHILD, STAR OF THE SEA, ST. BENEDICT, SHALOM, MATYRS OF UGANDA, ST.MARK.

Defending champions Datus Complex will face Emmanuel Presby as they look to defend the title for the second time in succession.

Last year’s runner-ups Christ Advance school will also face Riches of Glory school.

2016 Ghana Movie Awards Entry Closes October 20

Telenovela Channel Eva+ Launches On GOtv And DStv In November

Eva+ will begin airing on Tuesday, 1st of November on GOtv Plus on channel 113 as well as all DStv packages on channels 142.  Similarly to Eva, Eva+ will offer high production value Latin American telenovelas fully dubbed in English and Portuguese languages, and will be the first channel in AMC Networks International UK’s (AMCNI UK) regional portfolio to be available on MultiChoice’s DTT platform.
