Glitz Style Fashion Photographer Of The Year Receives A Nokia 7 Plus From HMD Global

The Style Fashion Photographer at this year’s Glitz Style awards, Gilbert Asante has received a Nokia 7 Plus, the Consumer Smartphone of the Year from HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones as part of his prize package.

The award category of the Style Fashion Photographer of the Year acknowledges a fashion photographer who demonstrates a fresh eye with impact, originality and creativity as well as one who creates beautiful images showing how fashion is not just clothing but more of as an art form.

Commenting before the presentation of the Nokia 7 Plus to Gilbert Asante, Business Manager for HMD Global, West Africa, Emmanuel Ossai said:

Some creative personalities who exceled in their field of endeavours and received awards included, Joselyn Dumas; best dressed celebrity on the red carpet, Velma Owusu Bempah of Velma’s Accessories, the accessories designer of the year, and Kelvin Vincent who won stylist designer of the year.

Other personalities rewarded for their remarkable fashion sense were, Nathaniel Attoh; media personality of the year, Zynnell Zuh; best dressed celebrity on the red carpet, and Lharley Lhartey as the rising star influencer of the year.

2016 Ghana Movie Awards Entry Closes October 20

The 2016 Ghana Movie Awards (MAG) has announced that entry for submission of works will close on October  20. This follows MAG's new strategy to open entry all year round immediately after hosting the awards in December. The Ghana Movie Awards is an event to recognize excellence by annually honoring achievements of actors, writers, directors, producers, technicians and other professionals in the film making industry of Ghana and the rest of Africa.
