IT WAS A SELFIE AND ‘BOTHIE’ GALORE AT THIS YEARS GLITZ STYLE AWARDS

The highly-anticipated activity in the Ghana fashion calendar, Glitz Style Awards has lived up to the billing with fashion influencers and celebrities gracing the red carpet in their most glamorous outfits while taking selfies and cool “bothies”.

This year’s event took a different twist as the stylish night extended from glam to gadgets influencers interacted with. It was a selfie and bothie galore on the night. “Bothies” are the new cooler selfies which use both the front and back phone cameras to take a seamless front and back photo.

Trendy fashion influencers such as top photographer, Rodney Quarcoo and fashion blogger, Naa Adjeley of Trends & Blends were spot on with it. Former Miss Malaika Queen and model, Hammat Montia, musical sensations King Promise and Coded of 4x4 were spotted taking selfies and bothies on the red carpet.

Many fashion enthusiasts and influencers were captured posing for pictures, and those with the Nokia 7 plus couldn’t resist taking bothies on their device.

The Nokia 7 plus which was recently selected as the Consumer Smartphone of the Year by the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) boasts Pro Camera mode and Zeiss optics and allows users to take pictures like a pro by giving them quick control over advanced camera settings.

The phone adapts to low light conditions by increasing light sensitivity to guarantee picture-perfect selfies. Enhanced Dual-Sight harnesses the front and back cameras simultaneously to capture the ultimate #Bothie too.

The Nokia 7 plus is being touted as a device made for creators like fashion influencers to deliver stunning content, no wonder it is regarded as the true hero in the Nokia smartphone range. From its showing on the night, expect to see more bothies on your various timelines.

Winners at this year’s event included actress Nana Ama McBrown, radio personality Nathaniel Attoh and several others.

Zylofon Media signed actress Zynnell Zuh for the third time running won the Movie personality of the Year award.
