Dennis Cobblah Emerges Winner At Y FM’s ‘The One’ Reality Show

A 26 year old graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Dennis Cobblah, has emerged winner of the most innovative radio reality show organized by YFM. Dennis beat off competition from nine other contestants who entered the competition yearning to be ‘The One’.

The final race involved the final three contestants hosting the Top 20 Countdown show on YFM at different days for the public to vote for the best amongst the three. Dennis’ sterling performance in the finals and throughout the competition endeared him to the voting public.

Sharing his excitement after the competition, Dennis said, “I entered the competition because I believe YFM can help me hone my radio skills and that’s exactly what I got after going through this competition. It has been a tough and exciting grooming session during this competition and am super glad to be the winner.’’ I now have a radio career that will pay me, make me comfortable and satisfy my ambitions, he said.

For his prize, Dennis will host a show on YFM, MC at Loud in GH, a full make over, grooming, Nasco 40” TV (Courtesy of Electroland) and Nasco Tablet (Courtesy of Electroland).
The six weeks reality show was all fun and excitement as 10 contestants exhibited their talents in order to outwit each other for the coveted prize. The practical activities in the reality show also made the contestants realise that being a radio presenter isn’t as easy as it may seem.

‘The One’ is an innovative radio reality show focused on grooming a young individual who is creative, charismatic, ambitious, funny and most importantly is extremely passionate about being a radio presenter. ‘The One’ is a game changer from the stables of the most listened to youth radio station in Ghana, YFM.
