Weza Solange Shares Her Views On Big Brother Nigeria 2017

Angolan showbiz entrepreneur and Ex-Housemate of Big Brother Africa Amplified in 2011, Weza Solange has said great selection is the only key to having a great and sizzling Big Brother Nigeria come Sunday 22nd, January 2017.

In an exclusive chat with Nigeria’s Independent News paper recently, Weza who was part of the production team and Online Team on Big Brother Angola, said that with a good selection by the producers of the show, it is bound to be the biggest of all Big Brother editions.

“From what I saw from the impact of Big Brother Angola, I hope and believe that Big Brother Nigeria will do just as well or even better,” She said.

“I believe that if the selection for Big Brother Nigeria is good, the show will be the biggest thing to hit Nigeria, it really all starts with great casting, they should cast people who are not obsessed about Big Brother,” she added.

Weza also went ahead to disclose her experience as being a former housemate and a producer taught her that the best contestants are those who aren’t obsessed with Big Brother and those who know very little about the show.

In her words: “I realized that the best contestants were the ones who never knew what Big Brother was really about.

Our first winner of Big Brother Angola became so big that even the Government wanted to use his fame and popularity.

“Nobody in Luanda had ever gone on a parade all over the city with people cheering and the winner of Big Brother Angola Season One became so popular that he actually achieved that because he gained the heart of the people.

The winner was a smart person, who never knew what Big Brother was about so he lived the experience to the fullest, we saw someone real, with genuine feelings not pretending. You need a person with qualities and flaws, someone who cries, screams, laughs, basically has genuine emotions, and if you manage to get that combination for Big Brother Nigeria, you have gold,” she said

Weza was part of the production team for the Big Brother Angola and worked with Endemol, the owners of the Big Brother franchise. She was also a Co-Host for ‘The Voice Angola’, which took place just before ‘The Voice Nigeria’.

She also hosted the red carpet for Big brother Angola and hosted a TV show where she interviewed the housemates as soon as they left the Big Brother Angola house.

After working for 3 years with the production of Big Brother Angola she feels that she learned quite a lot and has became somewhat of an expert on many things concerning the Big Brother franchise.

Meanwhile, Big Brother Nigeria Season 2: Episode1 will Kick-off on 22nd January @18:30WAT. It will air on dedicated event channels on all DStv packages on Channel 198 and GOtvPlus on Channel 29. So Tune in to meet the new housemates.
