RIDE ON Ghana Embarks On Its Inaugural Ride In Preparation For The 2019 Year End Events

RIDE ON Ghana, Accra’s citywide shuttle service, embarks on its inaugural ride in preparation for the 2019 year end events.

As with annual trends, Ghana receives thousands of holiday makers and returnees for an end-of-year climax. The season’s calendar of events is decorated with an excess of 180 public and private, highly attractive events.

In line with supporting the Year of Return activities and influx of visitors to Accra, RIDE ON (Gh) offers dusk-till-dawn shuttle services from 6pm to 6am, commencing Friday, December 20, 2019. During this season, and with a focus on high traffic areas, the service aims to provide over 15,000 rides to both business and leisure commuters.

RIDE ON (Gh)’s mission is to service commuters and students, event organizers and patrons, holiday makers and resident families with assured ground transportation that is safe, comfortable and convenient. Through this, patrons contribute to the reduction of drunk-driving and road accidents as a result of negligence as well as the reduction of carbon emissions by car-pooling.

With 5 well-networked routes through the heart of Accra, the air-conditioned coasters canvass town in hourly intervals. Venue to venue pick up and drop off is available for events, malls, offices, restaurants, nightclubs, festivals and beaches for both groups and individuals.

Patrons onboard the shuttles enjoy the RIDE ON (Gh) experience of complimentary drinks, free wifi and Afrobeats tunes from the RIDE ON (Gh) mixtape by DJ Vyrusky. RIDE ON (Gh) is fully functional through a mobile application available on for both Android and iOS users.

The service is proudly powered by Absa Bank, Surfline, Royal Drinks, Samsung, Nasco, Accra Breweries Limited, Allied Oil, Ghroupdrive, M&E Security Services, Break Invent and is a product of Empire Protocol.
