Ghana’s Very Own FAFALI ESINAM AMENGOR : The Brain Behind The Amazing STICK-n-STICHES (SnS) Brand

FAFALI ESINAM AMENGOR is a unique identity with a huge collective brilliant marque, called the STICK-n-STICHES (SnS) – which is progressively becoming the toast of everyone from presidents to prime ministers to the corporate men, women, boys and girls on the streets of Ghana.

As an ambitious self-motivated young lady, her love to challenge herself and never take a “no” for an answer saw her own beautiful chapter from a fashion lineage textbook of her family.

Though having had her first degree in Food and Nutrition in UCC, Ghana, worked as a banker for two years, the adoring young lady understands that for one to become a heavyweight in this industry (which she has chosen to play big in), one simply must not procrastinate or be laid back but be spectacular and ready to take the bull by the horn.

The story continues thus, SnS brand officially came to life after six months of Fafali quitting her job as a banker. She knew for sure that there was no going back into corporate world and she wanted to run her own business as it has been her dream since infancy.

It wasn’t really a surprise as fashion is a commonplace in her family; as two of her sisters and her mum are already established in fashion and style world.

It’s been almost two years since she launched their first collection as men’s brand. According to her, it sometimes amazes her how the brand has grown within two short years and now produces designs for men, kids and ladies. The brand also has an accessory and interior decor line which is thriving quite well.

Fafali believes it’s about having her own identity as a brand, discovering a niche and being sensitive to what her clients want, thus, she has and still working on the SnS brand to have that ‘wow’ factor that sets them apart from the rest.

Aside fashion related bits that she does, the other things that SnS brand are involved in cuts across taking environmental sustainability very seriously, and that motivates them into the recycling of used items into producing usable items for the market. They currently also venture into social responsibilities such as sponsoring needy people with free trainings and we hope to do even more in the coming years.

As part of her clienteles which includes current and former presidents and top-notch personalities, SnS has a special service they call the ‘SnS premium service’ where they tailor services and products for high class personalities in the society.

For Fafali and her team, they keep reminding themselves that starting the brand has been a blessing and having the likes of the President H.E Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the ex-president H.E. Flt. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings patronizing her (the SnS brand), is a statement of intent and that the sky is just a foothold for greatness.
