It’s A Privilege To Win VGMA @20 Logo Contest - Designer Henry Ghansah

Lead creative designer at Anvil, Henry Ghansah has been declared winner of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) logo contest created in honour of its upcoming 20th edition.

“As a designer this is one thing that brings you fulfilment, that is, to be the eye behind Ghana’s biggest music awards 20 years identity” – Mr. Henry Ghansah on how he felt when he was announced the winner of the VGMA logo contest.

Henry Ghansah is a major force behind many successful brands and designs such as GlitzAfrica magazine, Viva Boutique, Christie Brown, Oak Plaza, Ecobank, SO Aesthetic, Blank Magazine, MuseAfrica, 3Music and Rave media Group, just to list a few.

Henry beat over twenty designers to win this year’s VGMA 20th edition logo competition.

Henry as a lead creative at Anvil creates the very best of tailored and bespoke designs for all from corporate to personal branding.

In his ending words, Henry mentioned that it is humbling that he gets to share his designs with the world especially working on this year’s VGMAs.

Telenovela Channel Eva+ Launches On GOtv And DStv In November

Eva+ will begin airing on Tuesday, 1st of November on GOtv Plus on channel 113 as well as all DStv packages on channels 142. Similarly to Eva, Eva+ will offer high production value Latin American telenovelas fully dubbed in English and Portuguese languages, and will be the first channel in AMC Networks International UK’s (AMCNI UK) regional portfolio to be available on MultiChoice’s DTT platform. 2016 Ghana Movie Awards Entry Closes October 20

The 2016 Ghana Movie Awards (MAG) has announced that entry for submission of works will close on October 20. This follows MAG's new strategy to open entry all year round immediately after hosting the awards in December. The Ghana Movie Awards is an event to recognize excellence by annually honoring achievements of actors, writers, directors, producers, technicians and other professionals in the film making industry of Ghana and the rest of Africa. It is organized by Gollywood Production Limited with support from major stakeholders of the film industry, to provide opportunities for filmmakers to have spotlight on their films. It also aims to promote and support Ghanaian filmmaking.
