GTDC ADDS NEW FLEET TO CAR RENTAL SERVICE

The Ghana Tourism Development Company (GTDC) has expanded its car rental services by adding three brand new four-wheel to its fleet of cars as part of process to revamp its travel and tour operations.

The Company which is the investment wing of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture has been in the car rental business for almost a decade providing car rental services to individuals and organizations.

The Business Development Manager, Mr. Asiedu Abankwa gave reasons for the new additions; “these cars will go a long way to serve the needs of the numerous patrons who seek pride in luxury and comfort while attending to their routine schedules.” He stated.

The company already has two Yutong busses and five four-wheel Nissan patrols in business. The new additions bring to total 10 running long term rentals available from 1 to 12 months and daily rentals in and outside Accra.

He further mentioned that, Ghana Tourism Development Company has undertaken safety precautionary measures and professional training for all its drivers to ensure the safety of the customers.

The Ghana Tourism Development Company has investments in the Accra City Hotel, formerly known as Novotel Hotel - Accra, Dufry GTDC, manages the Assin Manso Slave River Park and currently involved the Marine Drive Project.
