Ghanaian lawyer and TV personality, Sandra Ankobia has taken a swipe at rapper Sarkodie over his recent twitter rant which involved calls for Africa to revert to dictatorship.
In a series of tweets, the Sarkcess Music boss aired his displeasure with certain developments on the continent.
He wrote: “What we need at this point might seem like dictatorship and will feel uncomfortable since we have enjoyed temporal [sic] freedom for a minute but we need drastic measures to survive.”
Sandra Ankobia, who was not amused by Sarkodie’s remarks, quipped, “If dictatorship was such a good thing, why would our forefathers fight so hard to gain independence for us.”
“I don’t think it [dictatorship] was the best of time and we are so blessed to be in this present time and to be enjoying the freedom and all that comes with it,” she added.
