New Executive Head Of Corporate Affairs For MultiChoice Africa

MultiChoice today announces the appointment of Reatile Tekateka as Executive Head - Corporate Affairs for MultiChoice Africa Holdings B.V, effective 1 August 2019, reporting to Hennie Visser, CEO of MultiChoice Africa. 

Reatile is a highly experienced communications professional with deep skills in reputation management, corporate communications, PR, internal communications and stakeholder management. She holds an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the same institution.

Her experience in these disciplines have been gained through a career spanning more than 13 years in Media, Financial Services, FMCG and Mining. Most recently she was Managing Partner for the PR agency of the leading integrated brand and communications group, Joe Public United.  Other senior positions she has held include: Head of PR and Communications at pan-African broadcaster Econet Media, Business Unit Head at Magna Carta, and Head of PR at Liberty Group. With senior experience on both client and agency side, Reatile brings a unique perspective to this role.

No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth. Renamed Big Brother Naija, the show will have 12 housemates who will compete for the prize of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car. Sponsored by PayPorte, the program will run for 78 days, starting 22 January 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised launch and end on 9 April 2017 with a two-hour, live, televised finale.
