Season Four Of REVEALED With Bola Ray In Partnership With South African Tourism Previewed – WATCH

An episode of the upcoming season of popular lifestyle Television show ‘Revealed With Bola Ray’ was exclusively previewed to a select audience Tuesday evening.

Held at Front/Back, Osu, Accra, it also afforded the audience a behind-the-scenes look at one of Africa’s most engaging productions on television.

The event was attended by known public figures including Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), and Jay Foley.

Scheduled for premiere in July 2019, the South African Tourism-partnered season will include a tour of Vilakazi Street in Soweto, Johannesburg, South Africa, famous for housing two Nobel Prize Winners, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu and the late Nelson Mandela.

A visit to the offices of Kaya FM and South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) was also captured in the behind-the-scenes video.

“For me tonight is historic because it is the year of return. Just last week, I was in talks with the Minister of Creative Economy of Barbados and he said ‘We’ve seen the stuff that you guys are doing. Can you come out in September and do something in Barbados because the people in Barbados look very much like Ghanaians.” stated celebrated media mogul Nathaniel Kwabena Anokye-Adisi (Bola Ray).

He added: “There is a lot that we can do to shape and change the narrative. It’s all about getting people to be exposed. Let’s showcase Ghana to the world, and the world to Ghana. As we speak, we are on ABN Television in London. We are hoping to get on a lot more networks as well. End of July, courtesy the French Ambassador, we’re doing France again, Isreal as well. The Ambassador of Isreal was magnanimous as well saying ‘let’s go and cover my country.'”

“When I started my job in December, the first briefing my boss gave me was to get in contact with Bola Ray. We met in Cape Town and that’s where the idea of what we are celebrating today was hatched,” expressed an official of the South African Tourism.

“For me what resonated with me about this partnership, firstly when I did my research around the brand Bola Ray, I actually realized this was brand that resonated with Ghanaians. It was authentically Ghanaian. And that is what this is about, we want to connect with Ghanaians because we believe those are the best platforms we can channel our communications so when the opportunity came, we grabbed it with both hands.”

Hosted by Anokye-Adisi, the programme has in past seasons done extensive country episodes, the South African addition being a fresh injection.

Some personalities who have had their time on the show include Togolese soccer star Seyi Emmanuel Adebayor, world renowned Cosmetic Surgeon Dr Rita Rakus, London-based serial entrepreneur and luxury lifestyle purveyor Ikenna Ordor, and Wonda World Estates and Petronia City CEO Nana Kwame Bediako (who famously bought a car from Juventus /Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo) and a host of others.

Showing on GH One TV and Fiesta TV (Dstv Channel 329), the show explores the lives of accomplished personalities while understanding their perspectives and principles of life. The show also airs on ABN TV in the United Kingdom, 11pm every Sunday.
