The return of KSM to the stage can easily be described as one of the most anticipated events for this Xmas. The event will  be on the 7th of December at the Ghana National Theater. KSM, who turns 62 on The 5th of December, describes the performance as  “The greatest DE-STRESSING, prescription that the country needs. It will be 62 minutes of high voltage comedy. My goal is to let everyone at the theater experience what I call an entertainment orgasm.” Asked what “UNCHAINED” is about, he explained it as “a stream of thought provoking ingredients cooked in a pot of comedy”. It is very significant that KSM is using this performance to honor EBO WHYTE.  He describes Ebo Whyte as the most accomplished and prolific Ghanaian playwright in recent history. “For me, it is an honor, to dedicate this performance to someone I consider a national asset”.

Akpene Diata Hoggar, Miss Universe-Ghana 2018 has arrived in Thailand, for the international finals of this year’s Miss Universe pageant scheduled to come off at the Impact, Muang Thong Thani in the Thai capital, Bangkok on Monday, December 17.  Soon after her arrival in Bangkok, the press, particularly the Thai photographers fell in love with her looks, particularly her big and bold hairstyle, which attracted a lot of clicks from the cameramen and women.   “Hahaha, yep! The Thai photographer for today loved it and kept talking about my hair,” she said.  Commenting on the contestants from the other countries, Miss Hoggar said, “It’s only the third day since I have been in Bangkok for the  Miss Universe 2018 pageant but I have already met and learnt so much from these lovely ladies. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has commended the Ikeja Golf Club for its support for social causes. Osinbanjo gave the commendation while speaking as the special guest of honour at the 50th anniversary gala night of the club, which held on Saturday. The Vice President said all members of the club and its leadership deserve praise for what they have done over the last 50 years, adding that the club is stable and is the world's friendliest golf club. The anniversary had as theme "Half a Century of Growing Friendships through Golf". Osinbajo urged the society's elite class to take a cue from Ikeja Golf Club's support for the community by contributing to the development of their respective communities in other to ensure eradication of poverty through education. In August this year, the Vodafone Ghana Foundation made a bold statement.  It had decided to implement a nationwide coding exercise to empower about 10,000 Ghanaian youth in the next five years with digital skills.  Chief Executive Yolanda Cuba was emphatic during the launch of the project in Accra when she said the initiative will start a revolution across the entire nation. She was right. The reasoning behind the new direction was sensible – for the first time a telecom company was taking a nationwide step towards social good by projecting its core competence. It resonated right away with Deputy Communications Minister, Vincent Sowah Odotei, who could not hide his joy: “It is fulfilling that our youth can get this opportunity to become change makers with coding. Inasmuch as it is comforting for us that Vodafone is taking the lead in this, we want to also pledge that we are committed to ensuring that they will be given flexible room to operate efficiently.”

It was a revered night for Ghana when the 2018 Miss Pan African Queen International beauty pageant was held over the weekend in Lagos, Nigeria. Miss Harriet Lamptey, Ghana's representative to the prestigious beauty contest won Africa's Top Model title, following an educative and entertaining battle for the covetous crown. Entirely, she also emerged as the 2nd runner-up at the contest which was full of beauty, glitz and glamour. Miss Lamptey faced stiff competition from twenty nine (29) other beauty queens representing their respective African countries. Asmaou Diallo (Miss Guinea) won the ultimate 2018 Miss Pan African Queen crown,  Pamela Thurston (Miss Egypt) took the 1st runner-up crown as Miss Pan African Queen Universe, Lebogang Keakopa (Miss Botswana) emerged 3rd runner up with the Miss Pan African Queen Culture and Tourism crown and Haleema Olawewe (Miss Sudan) took the 4th runner up crown as Miss Pan African Queen Peace and Unity.
