WatsUp TV Nominated As Best Entertainment TV Program For 2020 RTP Awards

Multiple award-winning TV show, WatsUp TV has earned another feature in its roll of honour as a nominee in Ghana’s biggest awards scheme for Radio and Television, RTP Awards.

Nominated in the category of TV Entertainment program, WatsUp TV is noted for its sterling entertaining programs which broadcast on several television stations in Ghana spanning 14 hours a week.

WatsUp TV is nominated alongside UTV’s United Showbiz, Atuu, Real News, Angel TV’s Purple Room, GhOne TV’s Rythmzlive, TV3’s Showbiz 360 and Max TV’s Upclose.

In Ghana, WatsUp TV airs on TV7, EBN Channel and Max TV and viewed in over 40+ countries across the world through its broadcast on Canal+ channels in Guinea and Burkina Faso.

This year’s Radio and Television Personality Award is made up of over 41 categories and will be hosted in October 2020.

The nominations to the 10th edition of the RTP Awards was released on Friday, 14th August 2020.

No 'Shower Hour' On Big Brother Naija - Says MultiChoice

As preparations are in top gear for the second edition of social reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, organisers have revealed that there will be no broadcast of nude footage called ‘Shower Hour’, when the show returns on January 22, 2017. This comes to some fans as ‘decent’, following the controversies generated by that segment of the show, during the now rested continental edition, Big Brother Africa (BBA). MultiChoice is bringing back the Nigerian version of the series after 10 years. It had announced after the last edition of BBA that each African country will stage the show henceforth. Renamed Big Brother Naija, the show will have 12 housemates who will compete for the prize of N25 million and a brand new KIA Sorento car.
