Mask4All Campaign To Mobilize Face Masks For The Vulnerable

The Coalition of Event Managers and Suppliers, an interest group of professionals in Ghana's events ecosystem, are starting a campaign to contribute to ongoing COVID-19 relief efforts.

Named Mask4All, the initiative according to the group, is to help garner support in whichever form towards combating the pandemic.

To this end the group will embark on a massive support drive to mobilize face mask for distribution to the vulnerable while putting out educational material on multiple mediums to help in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.

The group says the project ties in to that of one of its key partners, Accra Metropolitan Assembly’s ‘Wear nose Mask’ campaign, launched in April.

Key Media Partner of the initiative, Multimedia Brodcasting Company say they are excited to be a part.

"This is an initiative worth supporting and we are glad to be playing a significant role. This definitely does a lot for the fight against COVID-19," says Abdulai Awudu, General Manager, Multimedia Broadcasting Company.

Multimedia Broadcasting will support the initiative with Joy Prime TV as the lead as well as Joy FM, Joy News, Adom FM, Hitz FM, Asempa FM and Myjoyonline among others.

Ghana like many countries, continue to battle the Coronavirus pandemic. With infections still climbing up, it has become even more important for initiatives such as this to be supported.

The government of Ghana is still receiving donations for the COVID-19 fund but with more relief needed for affceted persons especially in the area of protective gear, Mask4All is a necessary intervention.

The campaign is also supported by the Creative Arts Council of Ghana.
