PATORANKING PARTNERS WITH EBELE & ANYICHUKS FOUNDATION TO AID COVID-19 LOCKDOWN RELIEF

The COVID-19 outbreak slowly spread its tentacles within Nigeria and while we celebrated some recoveries, we also have mourned the loss of many.

The enforcement of the nation’s lockdown left a trail of repercussions which have in turn been observed to have stemmed from one foundation- Hunger.

The Ebele & Anyichuks Foundation partnered with African Award- Winning Reggae/Dancehall Artist Patoranking to provide relief items and groceries as well as educate underserved communities within Lagos about the importance of maintaining social distancing and good sanitation and protection within/amongst themselves.

Within 3 days, 3 such communities were visited – Ebute Meta being where Patoranking hails from was the first location, Abule Ado in Ojo Local Government and lastly, Makoko in Adekunle of Yaba, Lagos. Risking safety and doing the most, the team was urged on by the warm smiles and thankful whispers from the locals who danced and cried with joy for the aid.

Kudos to both the team and volunteers who showed up as exemplary brothers’ keepers making such an outreach successful with over 10,000 individuals catered for. Words are difficult to give a clear picture of this positive adventure so Sheyo Becks and Jpix captured some for you to see.

‘Heal D World’, as Patoranking would say, starts with you and I.
