Grand Finale Of Citi TV’s Voice Factory Slate For September 7 At Fantasy Dome

The Fantasy Dome will come alive on September 7, 2019 when the four finalists of Citi TV’s music talent show ‘Voice Factory’ prove their mettle to win the ultimate prize. With support from the Musical Lunatics, Idara, Cleck Boyson, Ayjay Sam and Araba will be battling it out for the coveted title and the cash prize of GHc 10, 000 on the day. Gospel musician Edinam Bright-Davies, music producer Kaywa and Richie Mensah, CEO of Lynx Entertainment will be their judges on the night. I Want My Music To Make People Smile – Singer 6 Kiss

Prolific Ghanaian based Nigerian singer and song writer ‘6 Kiss’ has disclosed that his aim for making music is to make listeners and music lovers smile. According to him, he wants everyone that listens to his music to immediately have a smile on their faces and be happy when they are not even in thier good mode. The singer whose real name is Vincent Ebruchehor moved to Ghana in 2015 but has been doing music professionally since 2013. Speaking to Cypress Ghana, the afrobeats musician and ‘pan my mind’ crooner said “people should expect good music for me that will put a smile on their faces and always make them feel so happy.” He however debunked claims that it is difficult for Nigerian musicians living in Ghana to become superstars, adding that if the necessary funds and support and the love from the people was adequate, there won’t be a problem.”

Social Media Can’t Get Over The Surprise Gift Boxes For Launch Of Guinness Smooth

In the wake of publicly outdooring its latest beverage Guinness Smooth, Guinness Ghana has surprised some of its expected “A” list guests with special invitations and gift boxes. Social media could not keep calm with the hashtags #GuinnessSmooth and #SmoothVibes trending at No. 3 and No. 4 respectively, as these  premium boxes, embossed with the Guinness logo were displayed by sought after influencers and entertainment big shots on twitter and Instagram. Celebrities such as Caroline, Nikki Samonas and John Dumelo took to their social media pages to display the contents of their gift boxes, which were a bottle of the latest Guinness Smooth and limited branded Guinness goblets. 6th Annual AFRIMA : 8157 Entries Sets New Submission Record

The 6th edition of All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA, in partnership with the African Union Commission, AUC, has received 8,157 songs/videos on its online portal as entry submission closed at 1159 hour (WAT) on Friday, August 2, 2019. This year’s submission continues in the record-setting precedent of previous editions amassing the highest number of entries from African artistes, music producers, songwriters, Disc Jockeys (DJs), and video directors among others, since the inception of the biggest music event in Africa. The 2019 submissions which opened worldwide on May 15 exceeded the 2018 submissions by 148 entries. Of the 8,157 entries submitted this year, Western Africa leads the pack with 38% of the total entries followed by Southern Africa with 24%. Eastern Africa, Central Africa and Northern Africa have 20%, 14% and 4% respectively. CBG Posts Profit In Less Than A Year In Operation

CBG Ghana has in less than a year, moved from a negative position to post profit, in a generally challenging banking environment. This was on the back of prudent management practices; the Bank has explained. CBG was formed in August last year after the collapse of Five struggling banks in the country. The banks were Sovereign Bank, Royal Bank, The Beige Bank, Construction Bank and Unibank. Heritage Bank and Premium Bank were added in January 2019. These banks had liquidity challenges and the Bank of Ghana opted to revoke the licenses of the said banks.
