Actress Baby Blanche To Premiere Movie Trophy In October

After taking a break from the movie industry, actress Baby Blanche is back and set to premiere her first self-produced movie.

The movie titled, Trophy which will be premiered in October talks about campus life, politics, and relationship among others.

Some of the actors who played major roles in this movie include, Baby Blanche, Samuel Ofori, Bill Asamoah, Bishop Benard Nyarko, Nana Hayford, Jessica Williams and Sandra Ababio.

For the ‘What Sex Can Do’ actress, her decision to produce her own movie is out of the passion she has for the Ghanaian Movie Industry.

“I went off the scene for a while due to one or two reasons but then again, I figured out that I have a lot to offer so far as the movie industry is concerned.

“There are a lot of issues that needs to be addressed and that is my core attack. I intend to come out with clean productions. The movie, Trophy is one of its kind, very educative, informative and thought provoking,” she said.

“One thing I can promise Ghanaians is that, it is a movie that was well chosen, one that went through a lot of scrutinizing. My team and I had to sit down on several occasions to make sure the script we had was spot on.”

In a response to why she chose to use actors who are known for Kumawood movies, she said, “it is nothing, following their works, they fell into the roles that I wanted them to play. There is not specific reason.

“It is a fuse of English and Twi so everyone has a share in it,” she said.
