After the final elimination phase, nominees for the Made in Ghana, Professional of the Year and Charity of the Year categories were announced on Friday 21st April 2017 at the GUBA Ghana Launch event at the residence of the British High Commissioner to Ghana, His Excellency Jon Benjamin, in Accra.
Amongst the finalists from the Made in Ghana category is Booomers International, currently the biggest player and market leader in bamboo bicycle production in West Africa. Also, I think it is important to express my gratitude to the team I work with and everyone who has been involved in bringing the company this far. This is the beginning of greater things to happen and it will definitely serve as a challenge to us to be more innovative, creative and productive, rather than becoming complacent”.
