ACCRA SPORTS STADIUM COMES ALIVE

The Accra Sports Stadium, formerly named the Ohene Djan Stadium is set to come alive as it presents a new twist to outdoor entertainment film showing on the biggest screen ever in Ghana.

An Africa /America film titled the "UNWANTED GUEST" , a film that tells a story of the Africans as they find themselves in the diaspora, the great expectations of the trip to the greener pastures will be launched on the 27th day January, 2017.

The event is organized by Rite communications limited in collaboration with Judi Consult, this center is poised to show the best of films and top award winning films across Africa and beyond.

According to spokesperson for the event who is also the country rep of the Africa Film Academy Judith Oluwole Kuwornu, the center is to showcase top award winning films that are cinema bound, creating an avenue for the African film maker to access its audience as it is been done elsewhere.

Adding that there are top Africa films that are showing in Hollywood and we are entitled to viewing them right here in Ghana hence: the creation of a center like this in Ghana.

The center is opened to the Ghanaian film maker and beyond, creating an international film center in the Ghanaian contest.
